Choosing this equipment

Check the exact battery-to-inverter pairing and the essential-load schedule before deciding that a single module is sufficient.

  • Prepare an appliance list with wattages, simultaneous loads and required backup hours. Identify which circuits must remain available and which can be left off during an outage.
  • Supply the exact inverter model and firmware details. Ask the installer to confirm the battery manufacturer’s compatibility requirements, communications and expansion limits.
  • Request usable-energy assumptions, allowable load, reserve settings, protection, enclosure and mounting details in the quotation. Nominal kWh is not the same as guaranteed energy delivered to appliances.

Before delivery and installation

  1. Use a qualified solar installer. Agree the protected installation location, access clearances, cable routes and emergency isolation before equipment arrives.
  2. The installer must follow the selected model’s connection, protection and commissioning instructions. Do not improvise battery cables, mix incompatible modules or work on live battery terminals.
  3. At handover, check the monitoring display with your installer, agree backup priorities and receive a written shutdown procedure, warranty terms and serial-number record.

Operation and maintenance

  • Keep access clear and follow the manufacturer’s environmental and inspection requirements. Report unusual heat, damage or alarms and follow the installer’s emergency guidance.
  • Review backup performance with actual household use before adding appliances or extra battery modules. Arrange expansion through the installer so protection and settings are reassessed.

What to include in your enquiry

Send your county and nearest town, project type, photographs of the installation area and the relevant existing-equipment labels. Tell us the quantity needed, desired timing and which parts of the project you want supplied, installed or serviced. If you are organising the project from abroad, identify the local contact who can provide site access and receive the equipment.

Frequently asked questions

How many hours will it power my home?

That depends on usable stored energy, inverter losses and the actual connected load. Request a calculation for your appliance list rather than a blanket hours-of-backup claim.

Can you quote related equipment together?

Yes. Request a coordinated equipment schedule so the selected components can be checked together. Related listings below are planning options, not a guarantee that every combination is compatible.
