Ten Dayliff DN15 R100 integrated LoRa meters. This is a hardware pack, not a commissioned estate metering system. Gateways, platform setup, M-Pesa integration, installation and ongoing support are separate.

Choosing this equipment

Submit the unit count and occupancy plan. Ask for separate hardware, installation, software, transaction and support costs so the ongoing commitment is clear.

• Provide the number of connections, pipe sizes, expected flow and operating pressure. Identify whether this is a new estate or a retrofit with occupied units.
• Ask the supplier to demonstrate the exact payment and token workflow. Confirm software ownership, account administration, connectivity needs and any transaction or subscription charges.
• Agree meter certification requirements, data access, tamper handling, customer support and the maintenance plan before choosing hardware.

Before delivery and installation

1. Have a competent installer assess plumbing access and plan any supply interruptions with the property manager. Match meter installation requirements to the chosen model.
2. Commission meters and the payment platform together. Test allocation to the correct connection, credit handling and the agreed fault-recovery process.
3. Receive an asset register, administrator handover and user instructions. Agree tariffs, billing responsibilities and complaints handling through the appropriate project process.

Operation and maintenance

• Keep the meter register and service records current. Investigate consumption anomalies before assuming a tenant or meter is responsible.
• Use the supplier’s support procedure for battery, valve, token or communications faults. Do not bypass or dismantle metering equipment to clear an alarm.
